It does drain you. It is best described by me as like Kitty Pryde of the X-Men. Her natural state is intangibility, so she has to constantly concentrate to be tangible. Same with us Introverts. We have to work hard to appear interested in a group of people or we get pegged as antisocial, uppity, aloof, or stuck up.
